Job Title:  Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Part-Time | Nights (Sat & Sun)

Location:  Neptune, NJ 07754

Contract Details:

• Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (2x12s)
• Hours/Week: 24 hours
• Duration: 13 weeks with potential extension
• Pay: Up to $2,088/week (Traveler rate)

Job Summary:

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for weekend night shifts. This part-time role involves delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy and manage ventilators under medical direction.
• Assist in intubations and set up supportive respiratory equipment.
• Conduct patient assessments, collaborate with medical teams, and provide disease education.
• Build rapport with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Licenses & Certifications (Required):

• Valid New Jersey RRT license
• Valid NJ Respiratory Care License
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• PALS

Skills:

• Strong adaptability, accountability, teamwork, and patient-focus
• Ability to lift/push/pull a minimum of 5 lbs and stand for at least 1 hour/day
