Job Purpose

ICE Bonds, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, is a leading provider of electronic fixed income trading solutions and a registered Alternative Trading System (ATS). We are conducting a search for a motivated, confident and team-oriented fixed income professional to join the Trade Support Team of our well-established and growing electronic trading business. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your e-trading knowledge while contributing your input to our evolving business.

 

Responsibilities

• Support efficient, accurate and high-volume trade execution with attention to detail and quality control while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements including TRACE & MSRB reporting standards
• Facilitate trades with a variety of securities dealers and institutional participants
• Work productively and effectively with strict adherence to policies and procedures
• Make consistent, informed and composed decisions using a blend of knowledge, experience and analysis
• Identify opportunities to optimize client engagement
• Reconcile trade breaks and money differences
• Develop, build and manage client relationships
• Train clients on the system functionality and drive adoption of the platform with new and existing clients

 

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Series 7, 63 required and Series 52 preferred
• 2+ years fixed income experience
• 1+ years working for or trading on a fixed income ATS or electronic trading platform
• Electronic fixed income domain knowledge
• Experience with FINRA and MSRB regulations and trade reporting requirements
• Experience with using trader workstation tools including Bloomberg 
• Confident, self-starter who embraces change and enjoys working in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork are essential
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to interact effectively with clients and internal partners
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; experienced with fixed income trading activities
• Adept listening and analytical skills

 

New York Base Salary Range  

The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $100,000 - 165,000 USD.  The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation.  While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
