- Worksite Location: St. Cloud, MN
- Compensation: $135,000-$155,000 annually
What you’ll do as a Plant Controller : - Perform monthly financial close and preparation of financial statements
- Reconcile all General Ledger accounts monthly
- Create monthly forecasts and annual operating budgets for the plant
- Support plant operations and the organization to achieve goals and objectives, including the annual operating plan and capital investments
- Ensure internal controls are in place and being followed for proper accounting and safeguarding of the company’s assets
- Assist plant leadership in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain working knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Prepare and implement yearly standard cost updates
- Oversee AR, AP, and Purchasing staff
- Work with external auditors and tax teams
What you will bring to the Plant Controller role: - Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- 3 to 5 years in a manufacturing environment as Accounting Manager, Assist Controller, or Controller
- Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
- ERP experience along with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records
- Strong communication skills and effective communication with all levels of the organization
- Highly detail oriented and organized
