Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer._ **Responsibilities** Ascension St. Agnes is looking for a OB/GYN Physician Assistant for our team! This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Agnes Hospital to provide medical services to patients. **Position Highlights:** + Occasional night (7p-7a) and weekend (day/night) coverage, as needed + Possibility of occasional 7a-3p or 7a-4p shifts + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 3 months of hire. **Responsibilities:** + Consult on OB/Gyn patients throughout the hospital including the Emergency Department. + First assist in OB and GYN surgeries - open, laparoscopic, robotic. + Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician. + Obtain patient history and perform assessment. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures. + Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions. + Provide counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. + Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care. **Requirements** Licensure / Certification / Registration: + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. + Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office. + Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: + Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.
