Note: This position requires the candidate to provide a mix of telework as well as on-site work at the Rockville, MD office location, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support a Client software solution ( The Solution ) that is an Oracle-based system
• Support a system that processes and maintains critical work for the Client
• Support internal Client departments and departments external to the Client
• Support a system implemented in 2011 that runs 24x7x365 except for planned outages
• Perform re-platforming of a complex system that is outdated in some areas
• Re-platform the Identity subsystem (Oracle Internet Directory / OID)
• Re-platform the Middleware subsystem (Oracle Application Server / WebLogic)
• Re-platform the UI/runtime subsystem (Oracle Forms)
• Work within a dedicated host and development environment
• Complete re-platforming work that has already been started under this Task Order
• Apply extensive work and knowledge of Oracle Database versions 11, 12c, and 19c
• Apply extensive work and knowledge of Oracle Middleware (OAS, OID) versions 10g and 12c
• Apply extensive work and knowledge of WebLogic versions 11 and 12
• Apply extensive work and knowledge of Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports 10g and 12c upgrades
• Apply extensive work and knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
• Apply work and knowledge of Oracle Single Sign-On
• Collaborate with the Client s DBA team, noting this is not a DBA position
• Ensure all existing interfaces interacting with The Solution s database continue to function following upgrades

Qualifications / Experience of proposed staff

• Extensive knowledge of Oracle DB versions 11, 12c, and 19c, Oracle Middleware (OAS, OID) V. 10g and 12c, WebLogic 11/12, Oracle Forms/Oracle Reports 10g, 12c upgrade, Linux, shell scripts, Oracle Single Sign On
