Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION

The Membership Concierge is primarily responsible for providing high-touch customer service to members. This staff member is tasked with establishing a personal connection with these members, identifying their needs and initiating a plan of action that can maximize their satisfaction with our association. The Membership Concierge also performs other duties to support department activities and provide outstanding service to a variety of audiences. Also serves as the staff lead for non-dues revenue streams by cultivating new and existing relationships with CSDA endorsed companies.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative:

  • Respond to calls from the CT dental practices and non-dues revenue partners
  • Works in a cooperative and supportive manner in all dealings with staff members, CSDA members, other CT dentists, the public and with all business contacts.

Partner Development

  • Investigate and identify potential new endorsement and partners for non-dues revenue
  • Manage relationships with endorsed companies and partners including contract creation and negotiation including products and services provided, compensation structure and all other legal terms and conditions.
  • Negotiate discounts with endorsed companies for CSDA members to provide value to increase the overall membership levels for the CSDA.
  • Coordinate all marketing efforts for the partner to be able to reach out effectively to dental practices. Tools to be used include:
  • Biweekly e-communications with CSDA members
  • Facilitate and solicit articles for the published magazine.
  • Work with partners to schedule webinars and demos to introduce dental practices to the partner's services and potential savings.
  • Drive traffic to CSDA website to increase partner utilization.
  • Develop Partner packet for distribution at meetings, individual practice visits or at other CSDA related events.
  • Solicit CSDA endorsements and partners support and sponsorship for CSDA related events including Continuing Education and CSDA Annual Meeting
  • Work with partners to provide educational articles in their areas of expertise for the dental community.

Managing Dental Relationships

  • Visit dental practices to educate dentists, office managers and dental staff regarding the value, services, and savings that the CSDA can bring to each practice.
  • Attend meetings to meet the dentists and educate them on CSDA endorsements and partners about the value that they bring to the practices.
  • Contact various dental practices to coordinate office visits also to include cold call visits

Revenue Tracking

  • Work with the Finance Manager to track all revenue payments and ensure that they are deposited and recorded appropriately.

Communications in conjunction with CSDA Marketing Department

  • Oversee CSDA internal and external communications, including print and electronic publications, and strategic communications initiatives.
  • Communicate and interact with CSDA staff to support CSDA related initiatives.
  • Clearly communicate with Dentists and Office Managers about the value proposition provided by CSDA. Answer questions, provide guidance and advice on any partner issues or communications.
  • Support DOME (Dental Office Management Experts) needed through discussions, regular update meetings and implement changes as necessary.
  • Work with CSDA Director of membership to coordinate with CSDA Benefit and Perks Committee.

Skills and Experience:

  • Outgoing Personality
  • Prior dental assisting experience in office
  • Knowledge of dentistry and healthcare
  • An understanding of computer and word processing is required (including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Great listening skills required, and strong analytical communication skills needed to be able to facilitate understanding of issues and matching that to a solution
  • Excellent, sound decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Ability to attend evening events and attend various committee/component meetings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $50,000.00 per year
