Teriyaki Madness is a fast-casual Asian grill known for made-to-order teriyaki bowls, strong operating systems, and a high-throughput service model. The brand is growing quickly nationwide and is rapidly expanding in the Indianapolis market , including Carmel. We offer experienced General Managers the opportunity to lead a well-structured operation with direct ownership support and a clear path to multi-unit growth.

Compensation

$55,000 – $65,000 base salary (DOE)
+ Performance Bonus (KPI-based)
+ Growth Path to Multi-Unit Leadership

Who This Role Is For

This role is not for first-time managers.

We are seeking an experienced, disciplined General Manager who has already led high-volume fast-casual or QSR operations and understands labor optimization, food cost controls, throughput, and team development at a professional level.

If you’ve successfully run a store at Chipotle, Panda Express, Qdoba, Five Guys, or a similar brand , this role will feel familiar — but with more ownership visibility and growth upside .

What You’ll Own

• Full P&L responsibility for a high-performing fast-casual restaurant
• Daily execution of speed, accuracy, and food quality standards
• Hiring, training, scheduling, and developing managers and crew
• Labor deployment tied to sales patterns and throughput targets
• Food cost, waste control, and inventory accuracy
• Health department compliance and brand standards
• Execution of local store marketing and community engagement
• Weekly reporting on sales, labor %, food %, and action plans
• Leading from the front during peak lunch and dinner rushes

This is a hands-on leadership role — you will be on the floor, not in the office.

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• 3+ years as a General Manager or Senior Assistant GM in fast casual or QSR
• Experience running $20K+ weekly sales (or higher)
• Proven history of hitting labor and food cost targets
• Strong hiring and retention track record
• Ability to coach managers and build bench strength
• Comfortable working peak shifts, weekends, and holidays
• High standards — cleanliness, systems, consistency matter to you

Strongly Preferred Background

• Chipotle, Panda Express, Qdoba, Five Guys, CAVA, or similar brands
• Experience with throughput-driven service models
• Turnaround or growth experience
• Multi-unit exposure or readiness

Schedule Expectations

• 45–50 hours per week (Paid OT after 40 Hrs.)
• Must lead peak periods (lunch/dinner)
• Weekend Availability required (this is restaurant leadership)
