**Details** + **Department:** Plan, Design, Construction + **Location:** Remote with up to 50% travel Ascension is seeking a dynamic and highly accomplished **Chief Construction Officer** to provide strategic leadership and executive oversight for our national construction portfolio. Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer._ **Responsibilities** Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for all capital improvement, renovation, and new construction projects across the healthcare system. Ensure that facilities are planned, designed, and constructed in alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, clinical needs, and budget constraints. + Develop and oversee the long-term capital facilities strategy in alignment with clinical, operational, and financial objectives. + Lead master facility planning efforts for new hospitals, outpatient centers, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades. + Advise executive leadership on space utilization, facility growth, and capital investment priorities. + Serve as a key point of contact for board committees, community representatives, and external partners related to facilities planning and development. + Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies. **Requirements** Education: + Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management. **Additional Preferences** + Exceptional business acumen, executive presence, and a proven ability to drive large-scale, complex programs across a nationwide footprint. \#Le@der **Why Join Our Team** Ascension associates are key to our commitment of transforming healthcare and providing care to all, especially those most in need.
