Box Truck Owner-Operators Needed – Retail Routes (Tennessee)

Overview

Prestige Express Services is expanding our subcontractor driver network in Tennessee and is seeking reliable box truck owner-operators for consistent retail delivery routes.

This is a long-term subcontracting opportunity with structured routes, early morning starts, and competitive daily pay.

Route Details

• Palletized retail deliveries to malls & strip malls
• Average 6 stops per day
• Pickup location is a warehouse in Chattanooga, TN
• Early morning pickup (typically between 5:00–7:00 AM )
• Monday–Friday routes
• Optional overnight routes available
• Peak season may increase to 6 days per week

Vehicle & Equipment Requirements

• 26’ box truck with liftgate (required)
• Must have own pallet jack and dolly
• Smartphone with charger for delivery apps

Driver Pay

• Standard routes: $275–$340 per day
• Knoxville-area routes: $425–$510 per day
• Pay structure based on route type (per stop / per piece)
• Fuel surcharge included
• Bi-weekly pay (Fridays)

(Earnings vary based on route, volume, and delivery area)

Insurance Requirements Initial Application

• Certificate of Insurance or Declaration Page required
• Insurance cards not accepted
• Policy must show:
• Named insured
• VIN / vehicle description
• Policy number
• Effective & expiration dates

Minimum Coverage Requirements

• $1,000,000 Commercial General Liability
• $1,000,000 Automobile Liability
• $100,000 Cargo Liability

Final Approval Requirement

• Approved drivers must submit an updated Certificate of Insurance listing the required certificate holder prior to route assignment:

Contractor Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Proof of required insurance
• Ability to pass MVR, background, and drug screening
• Must have a good attitude and strong customer service mindset
