Position: Tax-Accounting Assistant Location: 2092 Concourse Drive, San Jose, CA Employment Type: Full-Time (Salaried, On-Site) Compensation: $20–$25/hour (based on experience) | 40 hours/week Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax-Accounting Assistant to support our team with a range of client-focused services. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, and excellent communication skills. Qualifications: Education: M.Com or MBA in Accounting/Finance Proficient in QuickBooks, TallyPrime, and advanced Microsoft Excel functions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bilingual fluency in English and Hindi required; additional fluency in Punjabi, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, or Tamil is a plus Preferred: CPA or Chartered Accountant (from India/Pakistan/Canada) or prior U.S. tax filing experience Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (CPT, OPT, H4 EAD, Green Card, or U.S. Citizen) Responsibilities: Receive and review client documentation (bank statements, W-2s, pay stubs, etc.) Prepare basic financial calculations and reconciliation sheets Handle incoming calls and client communication professionally Maintain accurate records and assist with data entry into accounting systems Collaborate with the team on tax preparation and bookkeeping tasks Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to daily excellence Benefits: Competitive hourly compensation Performance bonuses Salary review after 6 months of employment
